Walking in the Clwydian Range
North Wales is famous for its wonderful walking routes and the area around Tremeirchion has trails to suit everyone ranging from circular walks of just a few miles to breathtaking walks on the famous North Wales Pilgrim’s Way that runs for 136 miles from Holywell to Bardsey Island. One of the most stunning sections of the world famous Offa’s Dyke route runs just a few miles away from Ffynnon Beuno and our local nature reserve Yr Graig is accessible from the footpath that runs through the middle of our fields. The Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is truly wonderful walking country. if you are planning a walking break lasting a few days, the Offa’s Dyke trail is easily doable.
There are also plenty of shorter walks in the region’s heathlands, forests and country parks – all linked by local transport.
