Cycling in the Clwydian Range
Whether you are a road cyclist or a black trail mountain biker, there is definitely a route for you in the Clwydian Range. We can provide a hose down area and secure lock up for you at no extra charge.
Cyclists love this area, the mountain biking available in North Wales is some of the best, with challenging climbs, technical singletrack and spine-tingling descents.
Located at the southeast end of the Clwydian Range is Coed Llandegla; a privately owned forest park which attracts approximately 200,000 riders each year. Covering 2.5 square miles, this is one of the UK’s biggest and best mountain biking centres.
Each year, this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty hosts several large mountain biking events. Getting involved or just being a spectator are both brilliant options – look out for the North Wales Downhill Series, the British Downhill Series and the MTB Marathon Series.
